Hong Bing
Founder, student builder and community lead
About
I’m Hong Bing, a Malaysian founder and builder. I started coding at 12 and now build AI products, organise communities and bring people together to turn ideas into working projects.
I co-founded AI Hackerdorm and grew it to 500+ builders across four university chapters in Malaysia. My teams earned prizes across 15+ hackathons, including a wider track record of international wins such as HackMIT’s hardware special prize. I also founded and chaired KiyokoCon, bringing together a team, sponsors and partners to run a student-led convention. After winning Student Builder Champion at the ASEAN AI Summit, I was invited by Khailee Ng to join 500 Global’s AI residency.
Today, I’m building CodeKite and helping grow Malaysia’s AI builder community: more people building, sharing what they learn and taking their ideas beyond campus.
CodeKite
CodeKite helps engineering teams repair software when third-party APIs change. We’re building AI agents that identify affected code, propose fixes and verify that the user workflow still works, giving developers reviewable changes with evidence attached.
The goal is simple: keep your uptime, spend less time fixing broken integrations and more time building products.
