Malaysian AI brings together first-time builders, developers, founders, and the communities helping them learn. We connect people through practical workshops, events, and a residency for teams building AI products.
Come with a question, a project, or something you want to try. You can meet people working through the same problems and share what you learn along the way.
What we do
Workshops offer a place to try AI tools and build something with help nearby. Show & Tell sessions let builders share their work and hear how others approach similar problems.
We also bring together independent AI communities and organisers. Meet the communities or browse the event calendar to find a way in.
A home for founders
The AI Residency gives teams a working home in Kuala Lumpur, with co-working space, regular demos, and support with product, engineering, and fundraising.

Malaysian AI is an initiative started by 500 Global. It brings founders and community organisers together around a shared interest in building useful AI products in Malaysia.
